Grand Canyon

We embarked on our adventure Thursday after Amy got off work. We drove half the way and spent the night in Page, Arizona, which were the big dam is for Lake Powell. I didn't realize that until we drove back and saw the dam. Friday morning we visited the Grand Canyon and well ... we found it to be a nice view but not that grand. Last year Amy and I did a road trip to Moab and visited Canyonlands and found the view to be somewhat similar, but a whole lot closer to home.

Upon reflection Amy and I both agreed that the View might be a much more grand if viewed from the bottom.

The view from the watchtower was neat and was full of the local American Indian history and culture and was fun to view.
