Photography Business

Since graduating last month I have been busy setting up my photography business. Amy and I are thinking of moving to Sacramento and I didn't want to get a full-time position somewhere when I knew that I might be leaving soon. So I've been marketing myself - printing business cards, fliers and postcards. It has been going pretty well and I have been getting some business. I have also set up an account online offering prints of my photographs through shutterfly. I haven't made any sales yet, as I just set it up this past Monday, but I hope to see some this weekend with a big dance recital that I'll be photographing.

It's great to be able to get paid to do something that I truly love and enjoy. I'm not sure that I'll do it as a profession, but it's something to keep me going and gets the bills paid. It will be something, that I feel, will keep me busy on the side.
