Day 10 Part II - Run Around

The whole time that we were at the park it was cloudy, and as you know, cloudys don't always equal awesome photography. After our boat ride we were going to leave the park and get some lunch before getting to the bus and as we were sitting there waiting for the train the clouds started to disappear and the sun came out. It was awesome, my brother turned to me and said you wanna get some better pictures right? Of course I did so we took a job through the park and these are the shots I was able to get on that run around the park.

Our trip to this northern area of Argentina was now complete and it was then time to head back to Buenos Aires.

Day 10 Part I - Boat Ride

Well this part of our trip is coming to an end. My brother and I had bus tickets returning to Buenos Aires leaving at 4:30, but we wanted one last visit to Iguazu National Park. The only thing that we hadn't done is a small boat ride and see tulcans. This trip I really wanted to photograph monkeys and tulcans so I kinda felt that my trip wasn't complete. So we were looking high into the trees trying to spot some throughout the day.

Before our boat ride we went out to La Garganta Del Diablo, or the devils mouth, one more time.

7

These birds were all around the park and weren't too afraid of us.

8

Day 8 I told you about the boat ride that took us underneath the falls, well this day my brother and I went on a comparitively calm boat ride.

9

As we floated down the river our guide told us all about the park and how it is thought to have been created - over time. He told us to see the Aligators of the park.

We got to see two aligators, this guy was really cute.

I caught this picture underneath the arm of our guide while he was rowing.

And then finally, right as we got off the bus two tulcans flew in and landed on some nearby trees. They were a little too far for my camera, but I think I got them pretty good. They are pretty birds.

I appreciate all of your comments and look forward to reading what you guys think of all these pictures.

Day 9 - Tres Fronteras

Today was more of just a kick back day. My brother and I had books that we have been reading and we decided to take a day off and relax a little reading our books. I was reading the last book of Harry Potter and really enjoying it while my brother was reading a James Patterson book, which are always good.

These ants are amazing, I could pass this guy up.

This is the Tres Fronteras, or in English is the Three Boarders. It is where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet across the river.

I look forward to reading your comments ... but I must say these aren't the most exciting pictures.

I am getting close to the end of our trip. Day 10 - Last day at Iguazu

Day 8 Part II - The Falls

1

After watching the monkeys were headed back to the park to wander more around the actual falls and try to go on some tours.

You'll notice the little boat at the bottom of the picture - the boat ride takes the tourists under the huge falls and then takes them down the river 5 miles to a places where they go on a thirty minute off roading trip through the jungle. Sounded good for Jim and I.

We took the little boat over to the island to see the falls from a different angle.

then we went on the boat ride and these blue plastic thingys protected us from the water.

15

At night we went to this resturante - Pirayu which was a place that our dad use to always take us to for dinner. One thing that we always remembered was the bread and the awesome pasta. It was just as we remembered and we weren't disappointed.

I hope that you are all doing well. I look forward to reading your comment.
