Cerro San Cristobal

This past Sunday the sun was out and I decided to get out and wander around Santiago a little. After church I hooped on the Metro and went to the Cerro San Cristobal. The Cerro has a huge statute of the Virgin Mary on top next to a Cathedral. I came to this same place 6 years ago when I came here with my dad so I have some good memories here.

I took the tram up and climbed up to the top of the hill that overlooks all of Santiago. Unfortunately it was a little hazy so there wasn't a good view, but I had a good time nevertheless. I ended up taking a ride on the ski lift. All in all I had a real enjoyable time, so it is with pleasure that I share these pictures with you.

Chilean Angles

Some of you that have been reading my blog for sometime now have noticed that I have a thing with taking pictures with real strong lines in it with vanishing points. Well I have been collecting some pictures and I thought I'd share them with you.

I went to go see Pirates of the Carribean and the movie got out late and I was happy to find the parking lot empty when we got back to the car.

These pictures are at a park near my house. I took these with my buddy Tomate come home one night after being in the city.

Talagante

A week from last Sunday I headed out to the country house with the family that I live with. We had a wonderful BBQ and I snuck away before the sun went down to capture some of the beauty of the area.

Enjoy these pictures.

This is their dog Cholo - he ran away for a month and now they have to keep him locked up until their fence is finished so he doesn't get away again.

This guy was a little scared of me :) I found this guy just walking next to the road, he seemed to have been the runt of the group because the other puppies were far ahead of him.

Four Wheeling in Chile - Club Ranger

So this is the last set of picture of my adventures in the mountains off roading. This jeep was about the most amazing.

Ok, I got to admit this was just a toy, but it was fun to photograph. It was interesting because it showed me from a different perspective what these guys look forward when guiding others up the rocks. Did I trick you with these last pictures?

Four Wheeling in Chile - Pato

I bring to you Pato ... pato in spanish means duck, but it's a common nickname for the name Patricio. So check this guy out as he climbs these rocks like a seasoned pro.
