Baby: Olivia and Presley

One thing that Amy and I really wanted to do since we heard about Olivia (aka O) coming to town is to take pictures of our two nieces together - so this is the blog for Little O and Pres Pres.

I took a few pictures of O by herself while waiting for Presley to show up.

We laid them on the ground together and they were just tooooo cute - holding hands here.

Presley has some really beautiful eyes, so I went ahead and accented her eyes making everything else black and white.

When a family welcomes a new baby there are many hands that go into caring for them. So here are the many hands that have been caring for these little ones while they have been alive so far.

Before Charity took little O back to Celia's house she dressed O in her little outfit and I was able to get a few more pictures of her. She really is precious.

It's great to be an uncle :)

Little Olivia

My sister flew in for my graduation and brought her two month old baby. The only time that I seen her before was a few days after she was born. She's grown and it's fun to photograph her again.

This was Amy's first time being with Olivia, or as we like to call her, Little O.

Tulip Festival

Thanksgiving Point hosted it's fourth annual Tulip Festival. Amy and I went last year and enjoyed the gardens and this year I took my dad. My dad is a big gardener and I knew this would be something that he'd enjoy experiencing as he is only here in Utah for a short trip - three days - for my graduation.

The gardens have, from what I have been told, the largest man-made waterfalls. I'm not sure weather that's true or not, but is sure is impressive!

I really liked the texture of this "fringed" tulip.

My dad and I had a great time roaming the gardens and it was a real MEMORY to be there together.

Provo Canyon

Sunday, Amy and I took a little drive up Provo Canyon.

1

We stopped for a while and watched this fly fisher.  I've been fly fishing once with my cousin Chris Cutler.  It's not that easy and takes some serious talent.

Driving down the canyon, going home, we past a water overflow area that was creating a cool waterfall.  We pulled over to explore - Amy decided to stay in the car because it was too coooooold.

5

The little 5 minute hike paid off and I enjoyed this waterfall.

Zion Mountain Resort

Our last stop before getting home was Zion Mountain Resort Zion Mountain Resort which is located on the east side of Zion National Park. Amy and I discovered this resort last year after visit Zion's and enjoyed the buffalo. It was only 10 miles off the highway and a fun little stop.

The resort maintains a herd of between 40 and 60 buffalo that roam 600 acres of land.

This bull and some others have been put in with the herd, they really stand out, but apparently get along with the buffalo.
