Sunday morning, September 28th, Natalie and Craig welcomed their first born to their family. Amy and I visited them Saturday night while they were in the hospital and once again Sunday after the baby was born. It was definitely a happy occasion.

Last Wednesday morning I went out with Natalie and took some maternity pictures. This was only my second time so it was fun to try different poses out.

Valley Quail

Here in Provo, Utah there are Valley Quails running around all over the place. It's really fun to spot these little birds. Amy and I always get excited when we see them and slow the car down to stop and watch them. We were surprised to find that there is a huge posy of them living in the houses around where we live. I snagged a few pictures of them.

We really like them because of their little feather coming out of their foreheads.

Nebo vs. Alta 09.24

Wednesday I photographed a local hockey league's game. This game was against Nebo vs. Alta. Nebo is a new team and still learning and Alta won the game running up the score. It was a fun game to photograph.

I just finished editing the pictures from the show last night and here are some more pictures. When photographing a concert or a show like this when a photo pass is giving it is only for the first three songs ... or dances in this case. I wish that I could have photographed the whole show, but it was fun sitting back with Amy and putting the camera down.
