Utah Flash vs. Vipers

I haven't posted a blog for a while and I hope you all are still out there and are doing well. I am getting married on Friday and I am very excited for the BIG day and the honeymoon that will follow. Amy and I will spend some good time on the beaches on some island that is a surprise to her, because I haven't told her yet.

Since school has started I have been busy with my new position with the paper that I am really enjoying. I am now the Photo Editor of the paper. I have an assistant and two other photographers. I made one photographer for each section - Life, News, Sports and Opinions - I am covering Sports.

Tonight I went on assignment to photograph the Utah Flash and had a fun time. The Utah Flash is the affiliate team for the Utah Jazz and the Boston Celtics. It was a little strange seeing a different team play in the McKay Event Center, because I am use to seeing the UVU teams play there, but I got use to it quick. It was fun to see some more slam-dunks. The Flash beat the Vipers 102-86. I had a good time and feel I was able to get some good shots.
