San Pedro de Atacama

I am in Antofagasta right now and I had a little more down time and I thought I'd send another quick update. I got to San Pedro de Atacama yesterday morning and I signed up for a couple of tours.

1

The first that I went on was to Valle de la Luna, Valley of the Moon. We headed there around 3:00 stopping along the way and then watching the sunset. It was an awesome experience just being there. It is called Valley of the Moon because it supposively has the same scerny as the moon ... never been there so I can't tell you if it's true or not .

After the sunset I got back to my nice hostel around 8:00 and quickly went to bed because my next adventure was to wake me up at 3:35 am to catch a 4:00am tour to the Tatio Geysers. The Tatio Geysers are well known because they are located 4,320 meters above sea level, which is about 14175 feet.

After visiting the geysers I got to photograph some more wild life.

I hope that you are all doing well. These pictures are just the tip of the iceberg of what I actually have to share, but I thought these might just hold you over for a while.
