Jim and Ken’s Great Adventure - Day 2 - Hot Springs

1

After spending Friday traveling around Santiago, my father joined us Saturday. We met up with him at the Crowne Plaza, downtown Santiago and had some great breakfast. We then embarked on another adventure as we headed north to the mountains in search of the snow and some hot springs.

2

We found the snow and quickly had a snowball fight.

My dad was lobbing some rather large snowballs in hopes of hitting me and Ximena but he wasn't able to control his throw.

5

Ximena was good at dodging the snowballs.

After spending some time at the snow we went to Las Termas de la Corazon. I was quickly impressed which the location of the hot springs as the entrance were all these trees. I knew these trees were waiting for me to photograph them.

8

I suppose the location itself distracted me from the hot springs as I simply wondered around the ground and didn't end up going in the water.

These trees reminded me of some other trees that I had photographed back in May in Argentina - Uspallata, Argentina.

After the sun went down we returned back to Santiago and stayed at the night at the Crowne Plaza with my dad.
