For Memorial Day Amy and I went on a road trip with her family up to Idaho. Dave, Amy's dad, is from Idaho and every year the family gets together to visit the graves of those who have past on. It was a different way to celebrate Memorial Day for me, but any chance to travel and get out of dodge sounds good to me.

As we approached the boarder of Idaho we stopped to get some drinks and take a pit stop and we noticed that both of Dave's tires were flat. It was a little crazy, but we were able to make our way to a Big O and get them fixed. Apparently the stem had cracked and made the tires went flat, so luckily it was a quick fix.

While waiting for the car to get fixed I took out the camera and photographed Julie's kids.

Once we arrived in Pocatello Idaho we went to a park and saw some geese and the kids went to the playground.

Amy and I went around searching for animals and we found some more things to photograph.

This bird was bringing food to it's babies. It was really neat, as soon as the bird landed on the nest we heard the baby birds chirping away.

I'm not exactly sure what this is ... bigger than a squirrel - that's for sure.

All in all it was a good trip ... I didn't take any pictures of the graves, but Amy did and I'm sure she'll place some pictures on our other blog - click here.
