Disneyland

Friday morning we went to Disneyland, where a kid can be a kid.

Amy and I had decided to head to Southern California two weeks before so I thought of a way to get free tickets. I talked to the Editor of the Life section and asked him if we could do an article of possible road trip ideas for the summer. He liked the idea and decided to make the theme of the last edition of this semester road trip ideas. So I placed some calls to Disneyland and sent them a fax and I was able to get some complimentary tickets from them.

Our favorite ride of the day was none other than Buzz Light Year, we ended up going twice.

We enjoyed it because it was interactive and we were able to rack up points and play against each other. The score above shows the second game where I won, but I must admit that Amy beat me pretty bad the first game.

Amy took this last picture while I was in line for a ride, I liked it so much I put it in here. She takes some really great pictures and shows me up from time to time.

I didn't really want to buy the Mickey Ears, but I felt that I had to at least take a picture of myself with them on.

We were hoping for a firework show, but it was cancelled because of winds.
