Termas de Chillan - Intro

Yesterday was a very busy and full day. I have yet another three day weekend and I wanted to fill it with some pretty awesome things as always. I decided Thursday to go to Chillan, I suppose I should have bought my bus ticket out of here when I decided, because I just assumed that by showing up at the train or bus station I'd be able to get on, I even left work early at 4:30 to be able to get tickets, but it turned out that the only available tickets were for 1 am. So I went home and got about three or four hours of sleep and went to the bus station just in time to get on - I almost missed the bus because I went to the wrong station at first.

I arrived at 6:30 and sleepily found my way to the other bus station hop on another bus to the mountains. I finally got up to the mountains and had a great time. My main goal was to visit the natural hot spring they have up there - it's located in the middle of the Andes Mountains, only 15 miles from the Argentina boarder and it was covered in snow. I was really looking forward to slipping into the warm waters while it was a bit cold up there.

This is just the beginning of the pictures here, I have split them into 6 different blogs, so enjoy this first set.

I took the train home, which was a new experience for me, I can definately say that the bus is more comfortable, but I suppose it was something that I had to figure out for myself.

I have more to come, so stay tuned.
