Four Wheeling in Chile - Introduction

Well I had another great weekend here in Santiago, Chile. Jano recently got his Jeep lifted and we took it out for a test. We met up with some of his friends and we headed up to the mountains. I haven't ever been four wheeling and it was great. I had an incredible time and I really couldn't believe some of the things that these guys did. I took a TON of pictures as I usually do, so I am going to post a blog for each car that was there.

This first set is just a warm up and an introduction to the area and a little of what it was like up there and then I'll get into some of the pictures of these guys later in the week.

We went up up into the mountains and had this great view of the mountains of Santiago. As you can see there is a big layer of smog that lays over the city. It's about time for the rain to come and clear all that up. (It's suppose to rain here on tomorrow.) The road that we took up was made for hiking and some parts I was a little affraid of slipping down the mountain, but Jano's jeep did well.

We stopped often to try different trails and we'd all stop to take pictures and watch the action.

Here's the little camera that I was using to take the pictures.

In order to maximun traction out of the wheels at the beginning of the trip we let out a lot of air - leaving only 15 lbs of pressure. So we stopped at the gas station on the way back to filled the tires back up.

All in all we had a great trip and I look forward to sharing these pictures with you. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of this first round of pictures.
